Super SFB adventure Level One

So this is the final game level I did for my Interactive media class.

I enjoyed making this, because it gave me the opportunity to do research on 2D platformers from both my past and my present.
I looked at a lot of level maps
(from new Super Mario Bros. (DS) backwards to DuckTales (NES) and SMB the original)

Directions
up arrow=jump
left=walk left
right=walk right
space bar= shoot sunshine

WARNING
I will admit this now, to avoid horrible comments fueled by frustration.

* The game level is designed to be a little hard, and the actionscript is a bit unruely.
(you may often find yourself slipping through platforms)
<flash games are strange territorry.>

* Design wise I should have done more research on platforms, as mine have slight curved ends to them which often results in you slipping off the edge just before a jump.

Also
* I have to do more research into creating a working coin reward system, these are dubious and the actionscript punishes you (scorewise) for collecting what few I was able to add before I had to turn in the project.

* I have no health meter so you can't die when hit by the Gloom Crows, but they can push you off the platforms with their shots.

* boss chara can't be fought he's only an event trigger right now.
I wouldn't have had enough time to learn how to code that and turn in the project on time.

we only had two weeks to work on this project so, my apologize to all who hate this. I spent many days up to 3 a.m. trying to do coding corrections, but the as a beginner I can only push the actionscript so far before it starts wigging out on me because I'm a novice.

This is my first game/level attempt so be gentle on me
I worked on this till my eyes started to bleed, so enjoy.
