i wanted to make Bojo's ears help to convey his expression and emotions along with his face.
he sees the clever coming down and is anticipating the impact.

i like that about a lot of animals like dogs.
i was definitely thinking about dogs ears, and how they will fold back in anticipation of something like a person petting them.
