the way koko and merrin run down that hill. it got me thinking. its just hard or impossible to know how "fast" specifically someone is going in a static medium such as a comic. but im guessing by their birdlike physiology that they would have hollow bones making them light enough to reach incredible speeds....up to 40mph!!
i guess they could be injured if they hit a rock or tree.
but who am i kidding. this is earravanah and your story. Earth biology doesent apply. Witchclockers looking like birds was probably all just coincidence :3.
im sorry i get technical. im very science focused. i like to rationalize things. i cant just accept it as "just there" or "magic". Logik is a type of archane technology...it has to be.
even i explain the science behind klondikes powers and im just an amateur. he had a lab accident while experimenting with red mercury. for clarification red mercury was rumored to have been used by german scientists for anti-gravity, teleportation, and even time travel!! i also read on wikipedia that it also has a skin lightning property which explains klondikes white skin.
this is in context because it just dazzels me that their able to pull energy out of nowhere. its not gene based because all races can use it. my best guess at this point is its being wirelessly transmitted from a currently unknown energy source.
its weird really. you pack so many frames into a single motion i can almost imagine the characters just coming to life and start moving. then i close my eyes and open them again to remind my self that this a comic. i know its unreal.
your attention to detail is as good as always and the shading is on the mark.
why am i ranting so much. oh man i sound like a total nerd right now D:.
Wow, the that ending seem rather ominous .o
I have a feeling those villagers are going to be turn into element eaters…
Your description at the end is very beautiful and inspiring.
I’m sorry you’re having such a hard time. I personally love your comics since they’re very original and is full of stuff that has never been done before which is very refreshing. Even if you may have to get a different non-art-related job that doesn’t mean you have to give up on your art.
Best of luck to you and I hope things get better
